About Us |
NCRD’s basic objective is to provide succor to the needy irrespective of caste, creed or religion. In this direction, NCRD was set up to take this initiative onto a wider canvas and thus enabling providing of relief to the needy & downtrodden. To achieve this, NCRD continuously involves the local people to contribute their bit to uplift the lives of the needy in the rural areas. This ensures that the help / service to the needy is continuous and will not remain seasonal to NCRD’s initiatives. One of the important initiatives taken by the Trust is to set up an old aged home to take care of the old people who have been rendered homeless either by the calamities of nature or by the inconsistencies of the human tribe. This initiative is particularly close to Nikhila Srinivas as he feels no elderly person should be allowed to fend for himself / herself in the autumn of their lives |

NCRD is also championing the widespread use of Right to information ( RTI ) Act by the rural people. This ensures that the people are aware of the Govt Programmes and the various benefits which may be availed by them through such programmes. This involvement by the people through RTI enables the benefits of Govt Programmes to reach the right people in the right time and thus facilitating delivery of such benefits from these programmes to the people they are meant for.
NCRD is supported by a group of similar thinking individuals who drive Nikhila Srinivas’s dream into reality thru programme implementation across locations. NCRD expects to spread & cover a wider geography with its philanthropic and development initiatives over the next 5 years.
