NCRD's basic objective is to provide succor to the needy irrespective of caste, creed or religion. In this direction, NCRD was set up to take this initiative onto a wider canvas and thus enabling providing of relief to the needy & downtrodden. To achieve this, NCRD continuously involves the local people to contribute their bit to uplift the lives of the needy in the rural areas. This ensures that the help / service to the needy is continuous and will not remain seasonal to NCRD’s initiatives. One of the important initiatives taken by the Trust is to set up an old aged home to take care of the old people who have been rendered homeless either by the calamities of nature or by the inconsistencies of the human tribe. This initiative is particularly close to Nikhila Srinivas as he feels no elderly person should be allowed to fend for himself / herself in the autumn of their lives.
